Friends of Hawthorne Park

Friends of Hawthorne Park is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to preserving Hawthorne Park.  The park is located in Philadelphia, PA at 12th and Catharine Street.  In addition to preservation and beautification, we also produce free events for the community.  Over the past few years we have presented live jazz concerts, movie nights, Shakespeare performances, Yoga, and arts fairs.  These events are funded by grants along with community and local business donations.  We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm at the park. We meet to discuss issues and welcome participation by anyone in the community.  If you want to get involved, or have questions, use the Contact link to send us an email.  Also be sure to check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (see the links below).  Click here for info on upcoming meetings
